FAQ
How would you describe the level of security of this heating system?
Our heating system operates in a completely safe manner with a voltage range of 3V to 42V. The heating tapes are designed to be puncture-proof and can even be fully submerged in water without any consequences, guaranteeing a high level of safety.
What types of floors are suitable for this heating system?
For the final flooring layer, we recommend using hard materials such as stone, marble, ceramic tiles, and similar options. Additionally, laminate, parquet, heated floors, and vinyl flooring can also be used, but it is important that these materials do not have thermal insulating properties and are approved by the manufacturer for use in combination with underfloor heating.
Does the thickness of concrete or tiles affect the system's efficiency?
No, the thickness of concrete or tiles does not affect the efficiency of the heating system. Regardless of the material thickness above the heating tape, the system will function properly. If the tiles or concrete are thicker, it will take more time for the material to heat up, but the same amount of time will be required for it to cool down. This system has the ability to accumulate heat, enabling efficient space heating.
What type of power supply needs to be prepared for installation?
To power the system, you need to prepare a three-core power cable with a thickness of 2.5mm. This cable should go from the main distribution cabinet to our underfloor heating distribution cabinet, with a separate fuse used for each heating zone. This ensures stable and safe power supply to the heating system.
Can the system be installed on old tiles?
Yes, the heating system can be installed on old tiles, provided that thermal insulation is placed underneath them. This ensures optimal system efficiency.
Do you install heaters under cabinets, beds, or kitchen appliances?
We do not recommend installing the heating tape in areas where fixed furniture is planned to be placed on the floor, such as wardrobes, kitchen units, or beds. This ensures the proper functioning of the heating system.
